éditions annexes is a publishing project that produces research outputs outside traditional academic publishing channels. It does not claim to replace them, but proposes to complement them by expanding the range of editorial formats through which research can be shared: manuals, exercises, protocols, zines, raw empirical material, posters, etc. éditions annexes in turn proposes to question the role of formats in academic publishing. The guiding idea of the project is to reverse the relationship of importance between the text of a publication and its paratext (footnotes, illustrations and figures, appendices), through editorial work and graphic design adapted to each object. Finally, this publishing model is fast, inexpensive and entirely self-managed, making it possible to produce accounts of living research in the making.
